What is FS251?
FS251 is the Certificate of Fire Service Installations and Equipment. It records relevant work, inspection and testing by a registered fire service installation contractor. The applicable scope depends on the premises, equipment and work.
What does free FS251 include?
Only the FS251 certificate fee is free, at HK$0. Fire installation inspection, functional testing, required repairs, rectification and retesting are quoted separately and require your agreement.
Does submitting the form mean I receive a certificate?
No. The form sends a service enquiry to FS251. We confirm the scope and fees, then arrange applicable work. Certification depends on actual work and results.
How long will it take?
Timing depends on equipment quantities, site access, equipment condition and required repairs. We explain the schedule after confirming the scope and follow through to completion. Mention any deadline in your form.
Can I enquire without an old FS251 or equipment list?
